Did you use a new font on your new setup? I seem to remember you having a different font before, but now it looks like the default font for D-land.....Was that 'wet' snow you received last night (yes, I know that since snow is frozen water, it is always wet). It looked like it in the pictures.Easy stuff to clean up; light treatment of salt (200lbs. per mile) and it goes away quickly.....We are suppose to have highs in the low 50's this week, which is about 20 degrees above normal. What a strange winter this has been!

Was just reading back in my g-book, and I realized that I never responded to your Michael McDonald recomendation....I have always been able to forgive what he did to the Doobie Brothers (have you seen the vh1 'Behind the music' show on them? The rest of the group don't think much of him!) by reminding myself that he sung background vocals for Steely Dan (when he was just a studio musician) on some of their best early songs ('Reeling in the Years' is a good example)..I heard about his solo album last year, but haven't heard anything from it. Might have to go to WinMX and download a clip or two, to see if I want to buy it.....

You are right about that mother-son bond. Isn't it amazing? I love Babygirl, but there is something different and special about my relationship with my son. Hubby feels the same way about Babygirl.

Wow... amazing that you just put a name to all MY fears! I sure can relate to that. Here's to hoping we can both continue making real progress this year!

hey, thanks for signingmyguestbook! I'm not sure how the word got out about The Husband/michael keaton but yes, he actually looks most like him when he's wearing that Batman costume. The cape is such a turn-on. He isn't quite as built as my Guardian Angel but he makes up for it with all the other wonderful things about him. But I'll say no more since we all know a good man is hard to find and I'll poke the eyes out of anyone looking hard at my guy. By the way, read your entry today-and if you read mine-don't take personally the New year's resolution bashing. I admire what you've set out to do. It sounds as though you're heading in the right direction with understanding that happiness will never happen outside of yourself if it doesn't exist within. If you come to terms with what your gifts are (because we're all differently gifted) and learn to develop an appreciation of them and a usefulness for them, you'll be on the road to finding contentment that can lead to happiness. It's even more important when you have children. I have worked hard to encourage my children to recognize their gifts, likes, dislikes, etc., so that they aren't as screwed up as I am about my self esteem. It seems to be working thus far. And THAT makes me more than happy-it thrills me to giggles! So go ahead-I'm behind ya--way, way behind ya.

Thanks for the advice...May I just say here that YOU ARE THE BOMB! (isn't that what the kids say nowadays?)...I don't think I screwed anything up too badly, because it displays o.k. on my screen. I did pick a couple of odd fonts, so I am wondering if they work on everyone else's page...Let me know if you like the new colors and fonts, or if I did mess things up!
